ORGANIZING COMMITTEES

Three committees will be responsible for the organization:

  • Steering Committee (SC) of three persons with one person each to be nominated by CCT/WG6, by IMEKO TC12 and by the Organizers. The SC will decide on major matters and every effort will be made to reach unanimous decisions. When this might not be possible a majority vote will prevail. The Steering Committee will make liaison with previous ISHM and TEMPMEKO hosts both for best practice and for continuity with earlier events.

  • International Program Committee (IPC) made of members proposed by WG6 of CCT and by TC12 of IMEKO, enlarged to include other significant figures of the respective scientific communities. The IPC will be divided in two parts, one responsible for humidity and moisture (Co-Chair to be indicated by WG6) and another part responsible for temperature and thermal measurements (Co-Chair to be indicated by TC12). The main duties of the IPC will be in relation to the selection of abstracts, suggestions for the scientific program, and peer review of full papers.

  • National Organizing Committee (NOC) nominated by the Organizers to take care of logistics and arrangements. The NOC would consist of the IMEKO member organization in the country (Slovenian Society for Process Control and Measurements) and of MIRS/FE-LMK (Metrology Institute of Republic of Slovenia, UL/Faculty of Electrical Engineering - Laboratory of Metrology and Quality), responsible for the national standard for thermodynamic temperature and humidity. The NOC will be supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology as well as by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, in particular The Environmental Agency. Both Ministries have expressed their interest and willingness to support the event.
